"Typical home cooking" is their slogan, and a goal that has been achieved in full, in this welcoming establishment with stone walls that inspire robustness, and where cuisine that is as full-bodied as it is generous in flavour will not disappoint. Brioche pecorino (sheep's cheese) and ciccioli (pork scratchings) with sage guanciale (lard cheek), caramelle with caciottina cheese, pork belly stuffed with fillet flavoured with fennel are just some of the highlights.
The desserts are excellent (the chocolate cake with Strega reduction, for example) and, together with the well-assorted wine cellar, add to the sense of satisfaction and rediscovered roots. An all-truffle menu is also available. The beer selection is great, including the meditative Baladin Xyauyù Fumè. Approximately 45.00 euros.
